If you think you understand what she is asking then please take this assignment and help me out. let me know if you need anymore info….below are instructions…attached is the syllabus about what this class covered to give you ideas you think could work for this…Marketing — Extra Credit Guidelines,To earn extra credit, you can do the following: Keep your eyes open for scholarly articles(see qualifications below) that expand on any of the marketing topics coveredin class and add value to our learning experience. (This means they will not simply restate things we learned in class and/or will not just be business news that offers an example of something from class.) Then provide the following:1. A link to the article.2. A paragraph summarizing its content.3. A short essay* that details how it relates to our studies andhow it adds value by enhancing our understanding of whatever topic(s) itcovers. *You must relate the article to concepts from class, but this part does not need to belong. You can often accomplish this in a paragraph or two. I am not impressed byneedless length, so try to keep it short and to the point.4. The “moral of the story.†One simple sentence that sums up the lesson in a practical way.Post the above in this Extra Credit Forum on Moodle, so that it can be shared with your classmates.Do not expect credit if you have not accurately summarized the article and covered all 4 requirements above. The aggregate amount of credit that can be earned for the semester is limited to 10 points. Thesepoints will be added to your final average at the end of the semester, making it possible to ascend to thenext letter grade.Do not expect to turn in one piece of extra credit andreceive all 10 points. These 10 points could be equivalentto as many as 35 test grade points (depending on the class and how grades areweighted), and for this reason they are not given without sufficient merit. Theamount of credit earned for any single submission is completely dependent onthe substance of the work, the degree to which is shows your comprehensionof the concepts and their application, and the information’s value as anenhancement to the learning experience of the class. In my experience, most submissions for extracredit produce 1 point.Resist the temptation to submit any of the following,as they will yield no credit: * articles covering simple examples of concepts we’ve covered asthey’ve been applied by businesses and/or articles about macro-environmentaltrends and conditions. (Examples of concepts covered in marketing classes area dime a dozen and we’ve already got lots of examples. However, these are finefor the Facebook page where they will count toward class participation.) * The only exceptions, as examples go, are those that demonstrate applied marketingprinciples in such a new and unconventional way that they demand the attention of scholars andprofessionals. One example of this can be found in the marketing of the Nine Inch Nails Year Zero album, one the most innovative examples of consumer involvement via interactive, guerilla and viral marketing that the music industry as ever seen. (Find it on the blog: (www.lpstudentlinks.blogspot.com It’s under several tags, but may be easiest to locate under the “creativity†tag.)· blog posts (or similar) written by some non-expert with an opinion. If you use a blog post, it must stand up to thesame scrutiny as an article.· articles from any “how to market your business†type websitesor articles containing material that is, in essence, simply a rehashing of textbookor classroom material.· Articles other students have already posted on the forum or the Facebook page.Hint: you will get the most mileage from sources that publish digests of marketing journal articles. Consumer behavior articles are usually the highest point producers. (Consumptionbehavior can relate to any of the 4 Ps.) Also, any time someone asks a questionabout some specific case in class and you hear me say, “I don’t really knowanything about that but I would be really interested in finding out,†it’s agood topic for extra credit. In addition to actual scholarly journals (long, detailed articles), there are many sites that aggregate research findings and publish synopses of them. (Examples: American Marketing Association, Science Daily [search for consumer behavior articles and sort by date], publications by universities like that published by Harvard’s Business School.)The absolute last day to turn in any kind of extra credit is the last day of class. NO exceptions. NONE. Please don’t ask. But do feel free to ask for feedback about potential extra credit articles in person (not via a post or e-mail) anytime before the
