If I were in the same situation, I would chose the son, who was the oldest to be taken as I remain with the little girl.

 I would decide to chose the son because, women and girls are the hope for the future. They are more likely to bring continuity in the next generation, unlike the men and boys. Thus, if I was Sophie, I would let them take the son and remain with the little girl.

Human Act is an act that is performed only by a human being and thus is proper to man. On the other hand, Acts of human are acts shared in common by man and other animals. Therefore, in the context of this video, this was an act of human because the cruelty and lack of remorse from the police officer to Sophie and her childer, by making her choose which child to let go to be killed has so much animosity and animals do that as they do not have humanity feeling.
