On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared Russia could not feel safe, develop and exist because of what he claimed was a constant threat from modern Ukraine.  He claimed his goal was to protect people subjected to bullying and genocide and aim for the demilitarization and de-Nazification of Ukraine.  There has been no genocide in Ukraine: it is vibrant democracy, led by a President who is Jewish.
Following President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, a sweeping wave of sanctions by the European Union and the U.S. has combined with an exodus of foreign companies and investors, leaving Russia more isolated and economically restricted.

Essay title: World against one

Step-by-step explanation

World against one

The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has been the trending concern of the International community at the recent time. It all started after Ukraine expressed its openness to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This international organization aims to expand its territorial powers and range across the Atlantic. The United States of America, among Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, is one of the biggest ally and contributor of this organization. So, what is the issue with NATO based on the interpretation of the Russian government?

Historically, Ukraine is part of the Soviet Union (now called Russia). Russia is indirectly threatened by the intention of Ukraine to join the Western allies of defense which might bring so much tension in Russia. In the context of  freedom and security, Ukraine serves as the main defense of Russia before other countries set foot on the Russian soil. Once that Ukraine allowed the NATO to have its military presence, Russia will only be a border ahead of western powerful countries that might invade them in the near future is ever. This is one of the simplified reasons why the Russian President Vladimir Putin was left with no other choice but invading the Southern part of Ukraine to keep its security in the best possible interest.

Things get worse eventually as the Ukraine government stood their grounds and fight the invasion of Russian military forces. The international community was then alarmed. NATO together with the European Union was triggered to hold the international peace and safety that is why they called to stop the Russian invasion. United Nations (UN) has passed resolution calling Russia to refrain from the action of war. As stated by almost all international organizations, there will be no winner on wars. People will suffer, innocent lives will be put on danger, and the destructions will be massive.

Despite these calls, Russia and Ukraine have continued the conflict. The war has become more intense after Ukraine expressed the government's plan to join the EU. Again, this left Russia isolated from the world.

As a consequence, many organizations and countries, especially US, UK, and Canada have closed their help to Russia. They shut down the value of Russia in the world market. No flights to Russia, no imports, no exports, no financial help, no military aid, not a thing. These make Russia feel the too much consequence of its action to go war against Ukraine.

Russian economy has drastically collapsed as its monetary value has intensively dropped in the international market. On the other side, almost all countries turned their help to Ukraine for more realistic and humanitarian reasons.

If this things get worst in the coming days, Russia will be forced to drop its military forces and accept its defeat because as early as now the world knows who is on the side of defeat. Let us see if notable positive changes will happen soon. Hopefully.
