Pick a company’s product that you are very familiar with (examples: Starbucks coffee, Apple iPhone, McDonald’s french fries, PepsiCo’s Pepsi soda, etc.), and discuss what you think the company’s strategy is regarding all of the 4 parts of the marketing mix (product, place, price and promotion). You can do a little research, but I would rather you comment on what you see in your everyday life from this company and product. Please give as much detail and examples as possible. Be sure to write at least one full paragraph (5-6 full sentences).for each part of the marketing mix.
Part 2: Please refer to your answer in Part 1. Now I would like you to evaluate and critique the company’s strategies. Do you think the company’s strategies for this area are effective? Please explain in detail. What is the company doing that you think is effective? Explain in detail. Is there anything the company is doing that you think may not be that effective? Are there any other ideas you would like to suggest to your company regarding this marketing strategy area? Please provide as much detail as possible. Again, be sure to write at least one full paragraph for each part of the marketing mix.
