Define the role of Human Resource Management or HRM as it's often referred to.

HRM has various roles, all dealing with employees. It's tasked with the utilization of a company's workforce to achieve its strategic objectives. HRM deals with the hiring and firing of employees. It conducts recruitments within and outside the organization to fill vacant positions in an organization. The conduct of employees in their work set up is controlled by the HRM, which can fire them in case of gross misconduct altering their operations.

On its employee management task, HRM ensures employees are well motivated to achieve the company's goals. It comes up with various motivations for employees to ensure better performance. The motives include reward systems, which tend to reward employees bases on performance, dedication, and achievement. The rewards originate from performance appraisals, which is another core function of the HRM.

For better performance and employee management, there has to be set rules and regulations. The HRM is tasked with the role of drafting and implementing workplace policies related to employee conduct. They come up with regulations to be observed in the workplace by all the employees regardless and ensure they're adhered to.

To ensure excellent service delivery, HRM conducts employee management. This management has to do with development and training. They provide employee's training opportunities and sponsor them to ensure added knowledge for better performances at their workplace.
