Firing employees is one of the challenge jobs for the Human Resources Managers. What can managers do to manage firing better?

The firing of an employee is indeed a difficult task for the HR managers due to many reasons. For instance, sometimes the employment contract doesn't allow it or replacement cost of an employee is very high could be some of the possible reasons for that.

in such a case, the underperforming employee or the employee which the company wants to terminate should first be put to some alternative work, which the company thinks that he/ she can do better.

Therefore, by offering alternative employment, the managers could stop or postpone the termination of that employee.
