You've been invited to a potluck (or maybe Thanksgiving)! You have been assigned a type of hominin, that you will do a recipe, using the main component of their diet (listed below) and any tools they would have had access to.
Hominin Assignments: Gracile Australopiths
At the potluck, each group brings a dish, based on the primary component of their diet:
Gracile Australopiths (Au. garhi and Au. africanus)- Vegetables. These species ate a wide variety of foods, including vegetables. This group therefore needs to create a vegetable dish.
All food must be prepared with the stone tools at each group's disposal (if they even had stone tools...). Your post will be a recipe or instructions made up of course, and focused on the ingredients available to your species. For example, cow was not available to our early meat eating cousins-- so select a wild animal that would have been around when they were living. Also, chili peppers were not native to Asia, so, if you have a hominin species that would have lived in Asia, you should probably not include chili peppers into your recipe. Additionally, you should clearly identify what type of hominin you were representing with your recipe
