CONCLUSION:

In part A, measurements were conducted at given pressure of 5, 10, 20. Experiment has shown that the pressure has a significant effect on the membrane ?ltration. Increasing pressure results in increase of the volume of permeate ?ow. In part B, the salt and starch solutions have same effect of pressure i.e., 125 mL/min. whereas, the filtration rate of milk powder is little bit less than the salt and starch. i.e.,112.5 mL lmin. In addition to this, salt and milk solution are able to pass the membrane whereas, starch cannot. At the end, it can be conclude that salt and milk are easily permeating the membrane while starch solution is non - permeable .
