Solution for QID #115226: What is drama? What are some of the different ways theater h | StudyHelpMe

What is drama? What are some of the different ways theater has  been a part of different societies in different places and eras? What are the formal conventions defining comedy and tragedy, respectively, as genres of drama? How do we analyze a play, both as text on a page and as a performance? What are plot, characterization, setting, and symbolism and how do they come together in the development of theme? Give examples from at least one play you are familiar with and make clear what we mean by theme.
