1. The person I will be using as an example today is one of my friend's aunt.

She is a 37-year-old woman, who I have known all of my life, I've seen her lifestyle change in so many different ways. The type of lifestyle that she has now is more mellow. She works a 9-5 job and goes to the gym 4 days out of the week. She makes dinner every night and reads a book of her choice every night as well. She is an amazing friend, aunt, and mom of 2. As a single mom, her priorities have changed. Her kids have become the most important part of her life, and she has been able to turn her life around. She went through a divorced in 2019 and has taken full charge of her life and her kids. Because of her divorce, she has stopped drinking and partying, and she is dedicated to saving money for her children's tuition, as she's also going to school to obtain a real estate license. With the psychosocial issue of generativity vs. stagnation, I believe my friend's aunt is going more toward the productive generativity side of it. She is always wanting to learn something new, she has also been able to separate her identity and her role as a mother. Her power is valued by the people that surround her and love her, as well as the influences and encourages others to strive for the better even when certain negative situations try to knock them down.

2. Namie Amuro is a former singer. She retired from show business five years ago but is still very popular in Japan. I think she overcame many difficulties until she retired because her mother was murdered by her stepfather when she was a teenager. Also, she married a famous Japanese dancer at 20 years old, but they divorced five years later, and she raised her son as a single mother. But She was a hard-working singer, which does not mean she did not take care of her son. She put her son her priority. I have been to her concerts before, and her performance was very amazing even though she did not talk during the show. In the article "Emotional and Social Development in Middle Adulthood", the author says, "Age is positively related to job satisfaction—the older we get, the more we derive satisfaction from work." Her popularity seemed to increase as she got older. We don't know why she retired from show business, but some fans speculated that she just wanted to spend time with her son because she said she would continue to sing for her son and herself when she was a singer. So she retired when her son turned 20 years old. Even after her retirement, she was nominated as one of the most admired women in Japan, and many people still love her. She is one of those women who have positively influenced many people.
