"The link between discrimination and poverty is largely based on inequality in opportunity. In Burma, for example, widespread discrimination against minority groups such as Muslim minority groups has influenced the way in which that specific group lives" (Sewidan, n.a). In poverty, some people don't have an education and that affects how some people look at them for jobs. Another ethical issue is Healthcare. The cost of health care can be expensive especially if someone is really sick. Now imagine someone who has no money or lives in a country where healthcare isn't a priority. There are a lot of people dying and receiving care because they can't afford it or don't have that as an option.
"The dynamic force of globalization will continue to change our perceptions, as it reshapes our lives, the way we make a living, and the way we relate" (Ehrenfeld, 2012). Globalization is ever-changing and continues to grow. The problem between the wealthy and the poor is still a big gap. Too many people are still dying because they are too poor to live. The same can be said for healthcare when it comes to globalization. Medicine is expanding and sometimes the cost of that can take a toll on family's finances to the point they lose everything. As I mentioned there are people who are sick and don't risk using their money for healthcare because they want to make sure their families are cared for.
One of the ways is to propose a working program for those in poverty who may not have the education but are willing to work at a small rate and increase over time based on their performance. For healthcare maybe set up a system for families to pay smaller amounts of their bills back so they aren't going without meals or find a way for them to work off the debt legally.
