The purpose of this assessment is to provide you with the opportunity to reflect on the different aspects of your own nursing practice and to practice writing reflectively using a selection of frameworks from the literature.
- In week 5, experiment writing your daily reflections using each of the 3 reflective practice frameworks shared in the subject. Follow the guidelines of the framework and engage with the literature about your chosen challenge.
- In week 7, you will critically analyze all your journal entries over the past 6 weeks and identify common (recurring) patterns
- Two (2) relevant themes identified. Why they occurred clearly discussed in depth. High level of critical analyses, self-awareness and emotional intelligence clearly and concisely integrated into discussion.
- Key learning from the journaling process identified. How key learning from the journaling process and reflection can improve practice clearly identified and succinctly discussed in depth. Evidence of high level critical reflection and analysis.
Highly relevant and useful examples of what could be shared with colleagues to enable/influence practice are presented succinctly and in depth. Suggestions for how to support colleagues to undertake reflection are clearly and concisely discussed in depth and supported by rationale. Well-developed leadership skills clearly demonstrated throughout discussion
