Can Ethics Codes Build "True" Corporate Ethics?

Answer:

Ethic codes are building blocks for the corporate ethics but it is not sure that ethic codes will build true corporate ethic because the responsibilities of business is different than individuals. People know ethical codes but it is not sure that they will follow it. An employer may knowingly pressure employee to over work for companies benefit. So many times ethical codes are been forced on people to be followed. A business has responsibility towards its shareholders, so indulging in an activity which is good for others but not for share holders can be ethical but is against corporate ethics.
