This question is just to remind you why lowest common multiples are useful. You probably knew this already in elementary school (but would not have known the efficient way to compute LCMs back then). (a) Use a calculator to compute 4276372320 mod 371800. (b) Use Euclidean Algorithm to compute GCD(4276372320, 371800). I know they seem like big numbers but you can do it pretty quickly using the calculator on your phone (no need for a computer here)- same goes for the rest of the question! (c) Now use Q3(c) to write down LCM (4276372320, 371800) too. (d) Finally, by first putting them over a common denominator, namely, the lowest common multiple of the given two denominators, ex- press the following as a single fraction in its lowest terms: 1 + 4276372320 371800 Are you sure there isn't any further cancelation?
