Review the material you read last week in Chapter 3 of the Essentials of College Writing text regarding development of thesis statements. Locate the thesis statement in the rough draft of your narrative essay and evaluate the thesis using the Checklist for an Effective Thesis Statement in Chapter 3. Revise your thesis, as necessary, to conform to the requirements in the checklist.
Post your revised thesis statement in this discussion, along with one statement (assertion) you will make in your paper to support your thesis.
