Do you think that people from Canada and the US are greatly different or generally the same? 

Canadians are generally seen to be different from those who come from the united states.

What are the differences? 

The United States and Canadian citizens differently by foreigners and international who visit such countries. For the majority of the people, all five are what are known to show European attitudes and a high criticism of the American culture that is also witnessed in Europe. People also believe that Canadians are more welcoming in terms of hospitality.

How would you use the sociological perspectives to measure the differences? 

Various sociological perspectives can be used to explain the existing differences between Canadians and the Citizens of the United States. Such perspectives include structural-functionalism underline the culture for the people of Canada. The united states citizens also have cultures that are based on the integration of different cultures leading to the differences in attitude witnessed in the people.

What are some implications for you as an international student/immigrant/global citizen?

One major implication is that favorable cultures make it easier for international students to adopt. Those who are friendly and offer diverse cultures such as the united states make it easier for international students as they can find people from their cultures. The other implication is that Canada makes it easier for immigrants due to their favorable policies.

While comparing the two cultures in North America, I have gained an insight in regards to the perception of different cultures. I have managed to show how people respond differently to adopting the two cultures.
