What is a good strategies recommended to  incorporate into teaching before giving and assessment? why?

 

There are many strategies that can be incorporated into teaching before giving assessments. But I think the most important strategy is first to assess the classroom setup (maybe by means of a survey). This can be done by identifying the students' level of motivation and confidence and assessing the effectiveness of your teaching in terms of the students' level of absorption of the knowledge and content. This is necessary because by this, you will be able to know when is the right time to give assessment (that is, you can identify if the students are ready for the assessments) and what type of assessment are necessary in accordance with the result of your assessment of your classroom setup. For example, nowadays where face to face classes can not be conducted due to the global pandemic, the assessment teachers often give during the normal classroom setup may not be applicable and effective anymore.
