In every one’s life, at a time we experience social comparison theory. When it happens in early childhood, it is good at that time as child compare themselves for a task only but when it occur during adolescent it becomes harmful. As we all know that social sites we are using are more harmful than we think and more destructive. We compare ourselves with celebrities, relatives or even with our own friends. For some extent it is positive but when we continue this comparison it can lead to negative thoughts that develop guilt, self destruction, negative thoughts etc. Except appreciation we do all types of negative reaction we can do to ourselves.
We should take these comparison as positive mindsets and try to improve our selves not to do better than anyone but to the better version of ourselves. We should not take someone success as comparison but as an inspiration in our life that can we apply in our life.
We must evolve ourselves with time. As change is the only thing that remain unchanged and we should keep this change alive in our lives.
