As technology advances, there are beneficial dynamic changes that are taking place in the field of medicine today.
Step-by-step explanation
Despite these significant and useful systems being introduced into the healthcare industry due to improved technology, the United States of America faces several challenges in delivering quality medical services to its citizens. Some of these challenges are;
Integration of services and dynamic change in information systems
The medicine field always welcomes the advancement of service integration and changes in the information systems. The biggest challenge is the implementation of these changes that take place. In the United States of America, care providers have gone ahead and employed a non-relational database. This makes it difficult for drug manufacturers to give out crucial and essential information about the health care organization that manufactures drugs.
Model of payment and discovery implementation
New payment models have been deployed by the insurers and benefactors because there a reduction in medical costs and an increase in service provision. The new models that are put in place hinge the patient's outcomes instead of the service quantities hat should be provided to the patient.
Protection of the healthcare machines that protect the community
Most of the information about the healthcare provider is stored and kept in the computer software. It becomes tough for the healthcare organization to protect this valuable information of patients from black hackers. This, in turn, also keeps the data safe and secure. It becomes costly for the healthcare organization and the government.
High prices of medicine from the pharmaceutical manufacturers
This makes the whole nation lament every time about the medicine prices because they have hiked exorbitantly. The low-income earners will not be able to access the medical services if this will be the increasing prices of medicines.
Being a student at St. John's University Physician Assistant program, it is my mandate and responsibility to ensure that I reach those most in need. This includes those left by family members due to illness, aged people, and poor people. When I became a student at the University and joined the program, it became my passion for ensuring that I cheap in and help these vulnerable people because they are part of society. Also, what made me this to be part of my personal goals is that the prevailing medical environment does not support such people in our community today; they have been forgotten totally. Hence, I am very focused and aiming at how I will provide my service to these vulnerable people.
