Leadership is an art of motivating the workforce to work towards the common objective or the ultimate objective of an organization. Leaders differ in their style, knowledge and traits but they all have the same vision i.e to achieve the objectives of an organization.

In my opinion the ranking of above mentioned leadership traits is as follows-

1. INTERPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Interpersonal attributes of a leader includes communication skills, listening skills, self awareness, selflessness, compassion, empathy, trust and honesty. These skills not only make the person a good leader but also make him or her a good human being. These attributes are atmost important to inculcate good values in the employees and provide them a right leadership and direction.

2. PERSONALITY

Personality of a person had a deep impact on the people around him. These are some traits which differentiate a person from others. A leader should have a charismatic personality to have an impact on the workforce. He should be firm on his decisions and have a clear vision of what needs to be done.

3. TASK COMPETENCE

A leader must be competent enough to have a proper knowledge of a given task because a knowledgeable leader can only guide its followers properly and tell them that what needs to be done. He should be competent enough to make employees work towards the objective in any given situation.

4. Demographics

The demographics of a leader are least important as he should be a person who can adjust and adapt in any situation and reach the ultimate object. He should not a person who is only competent in some given situation.....
