The goal of discussion posts is to help you put real life situations to what you read in the textbook. This will help build your understanding of the subject. Some of you have personal experiences with topics in this course that will help other students. I encourage you to not wait until the evening your post is due-so that your class mates have time to reply to your post.

This discussion requires two posts: an initial post and a response post. Response posts can respond to any classmate(s) in your group. To encourage an inclusive learning environment, consider responding to a classmate who does not yet have a reply.

Directions:

1)Post a meaningful original paragraph about the selected topic for this discussion. Your original post must be a minimum of 100 words but please limit it to no more than 300 words.

And

2)Post a meaningful response to at least one person in your group.

You will not receive points if your original post is submitted after Thursday. Points will be earned based on the thought you put into each posting and response. If you write something very basic, such as I found the chapter interesting, you will not get full points. This is an easy way to bring your class points, do not pass up this opportunity
