How is biochemistry related to organic chemistry?

Biochemistry and organic chemistry go hand in hand when it relates to biology. Biochemistry is the study of how chemical reactions occur at the cellular level. Organic chemistry studies the compounds that are involved in organic/biological processes. When studying biology, both subjects are studied. The two will give scientists and researchers a better understanding of structures involved at the cellular and molecular level, as well as how those structures are created and used.
