STATISTICS IN EVERYDAY LIFE

1. One of the concepts of statistics is a probability, and it is very useful in day to day life situations, for example;

• Betting against some player or team in a match.

These situations can be handled with the help of probability, like what is the probability of drawing an ace from the deck.

2. The mean/average is also one of the techniques that are used in day to day life.

• One can estimate the monthly average of money for the groceries that are required in the house.
• The average number of masks used by the members of the house.
