1.ELEMENT

Elements are the entities, based on which the data is collected. Elements are a very important feature of the data.

2.VARIABLE

Variables are the characteristics of interest for the corresponding elements.

3.OBSERVATION

Observations are the set of measurements that are collected for a specific element.

4.DATA SET

The data set is comprised of the following 3 things ;

• Elements
• Variables
• Observations
