The steps to find gravimetric analysis:

• Weigh the given sample accurately.
• Dissolve the sample in particular solvent.
• Separate the precipitate by filtration.
• Wash the precipitate to remove the impurities.
• Heat the precipitate to dry it completely.
• Cool and weigh the precipitate.
• Repeat above steps 2 to 3 times for better results.
• Calculate the percent by mass of analyte in the sample.
