What would be the slope of velocity vs. spring compression length graph?
If more information is needed: For an experimental lab, the independent variable is the spring compression length, the dependent variable is the average velocity, and the constants are the mass and the spring stiffness (k). The simulation for the lab experiment was one where a guy named Trevor would get launched across a field. During a neutral zone of 18 meters, you would have to measure the exact time (with the simulation's timer) Trevor takes to across the neutral zone. I had to do several trials for this because you have to control and adjust the spring compression length, and to make sure one gets the time more precisely.
Then, I had to graph all the data I collected into a velocity vs. spring compression length graph. However, I'm not sure what the slope is. I thought it might be time, but I don't know.
