The media has scared parents with stories of kidnappings and murders, so sport is more organized and occurs in facilities with some type of adult supervision.
With the increase of high performance and professional sports, adults and children alike find pleasure in cheering for specific people and teams and see them as role models. Children can now strive to be a professional athlete living the ritzy lifestyle.
