MAJOR TRENDS IN POVERTY AND INEQUALITY ACROSS THE U.S
According to report published by the (Brooking Institute in the US 2012), it highlighted two major trends that are related to poverty and inequality across the United states. These are, violent crimes in major cities, and single parenthood. In the current economic condition across the United states nothing much has changed in regard to these prevailing issues. In recent years the federal government in the US passed laws that have affected labor especially amongst the immigrants. Such has led to high rates of unemployment also most young families have been broken leading to single parents. With high rates of unemployment and most families having single parents has contributed to households and individuals in the society changing their social status. As individuals find it hard to live in certain location due to crime rates as they move out to find suitable environment to live mostly their social status would change. This would be very much the same in circumstances where families' status would change to one parent.
