Media and news organizations are responsible on promoting public awareness. It is a fact that covering violence, bad news and tragedies cause people to develop depression or stress even aggressive behavior to kids and youth who are not properly receive parental guidance while watching. If such reports or coverage are unavoidable since these coverage raise adult's awareness and alarms society to protect each other, parental guidance should be strengthened. The world nowadays has a lot of unexpected traumatic situations and children/youth should be properly guided in order for them not to feel anxiety and depression.

It is indeed that headlines are too often emphasizing horrible situations of the world especially right now that we are experiencing societal problems such as covid19 pandemic which everyone are afraid to have. It is because the world now needs awareness and this can be happened through media. People nowadays are active online from which headlines regarding horrible situation of the world can be displayed. This is the modern technology that gives us freedom on expression and educate us as well.  The effect of this pandemic results to a lot of difficulties especially to socioeconomic growth of each countries. Therefore viewers, listeners, and readers of the news have their own option to still listen and watch. It is their will if they will listen and watch in order to be updated on the current situations of the world and raise awareness on how to cope up with present situation. On the other hand there are some viewers and listeners who can choose not to watch and listen if this will cause them to develop a feeling of discomfort and anxiety.

Media and news outlet can cover inspirational stories despite of bad news or tragedies the world is experiencing. Those kind of contents will give viewers and listeners to view life positively and it gives hope as well for everyone to remain calm and be motivated everyday. Media can produce coverage tackling ways on how to improve a living or ways on how to maintain good health or avoid having a chronic diseases. With these contents, people's attention can be caught as it will address their daily issues or problems. Given the "if it bleeds, it leads" mentality, no news organization yet likely to be the first to try as of to date, since the goal of news and media is to remain people in tuning in and sell advertising.  If there was a shift, the fall out would be the lack of public awareness on current events as details are important to people and current events despite how bad it is has to be covered no matter what. In this case, what people can do especially adults is to guide one another especially children and adolescence on those violent coverage by media.  Everyone should be responsible of ourselves on how we can cope up with bad news that it might not overwhelm us passively.
