In the book of Acts, during Pauls second and third missionary journeys, what was some of the choices Paul made concerning the members of his team, the cities where he chose tp preach (and those where he chose not to preach), the people upon whom he focused his attention and his approachto discipleship and "follow-up."
In Paul's second missionary journey, he went to Lystra, Phrygia and Galatia, Macedonia, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, and lastly Caesarea before he headed back to Jerusalem. To get to his first destination, he traveled around Asia Minor and came through the Amanus Mountains, Cilicia, and Derbe. This time he went there with Silas only because he had an intense argument with Barnabas. Barnabas wanted to invite John and Mark back but Paul rejected the idea since both men abandoned them previously.
Paul was supposed to head towards Troas but after having a vision or a dream, he was convinced to go to Lystra. After doing the circumcision of Timothy in Lystra, he joined Paul in his travels.
Despite the troubles and doubts, everywhere he went, Jews paid attention to Paul's message and every time, they are increasing in numbers.
By the time he was about to leave Corinth he took Priscilla and Aquila with him to go to Ephesus and left Silas and Timothy. After preaching there he then left the couple and went to Caesarea before heading back to Jerusalem.
For his third journey, he went to Asia Minor again. and started by empowering the believers in Galatia then he headed back to Ephesus.
Paul experienced hate and bashful actions and comments in both journeys. Wherever and whenever he goes there were obstacles but he still chose to spread the Word of God.
