- Regions in geography is defined as the divided of areas such as the physical geography, human geography and environment geography wherein there is a different culture or environment that you can see. There are 7 regions around the world, these are from the largest to the lowest areas: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. Every region has different countries that you could found in the Map. You can see group of countries in every region or continent, for example, Asia has 48 countries such as Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, China, Singapore and many more to mention. If you want to look in a globe or map, a part of Asia is really big and name of countries are indicated. Therefore, this statement refers regional geography is the study of geography that describe all parts on earth. The reason why do regions are divided, is to study the differences of human characterization and its culture. 

(2) Regions can be a combination of two regions. 

-  For every region, we can discover the different two regions. When we say region in a combination of two regions is to identify cultural or physical characteristics, language is also included. Sometimes, this statement can be defined as region within the region because you can find more than 10 regions within only one region. . Now, let us discuss the 3 types of region that are formal, functional and vernacular.

• formal region -  also known as homogenous region, it refers to the specific characterization. For example, (1) rocky mountain can be found between United States and Canada, and (2) desert climate can be both found between north Africa and middle east.
• functional region - also known as nodal region. It refers to the social or economic that occurs between a node or the focal point or surrounding areas. For example, the circulation of New York Times is a functional region and New York is the node. When we say node, it refers to the connecting point that intersect between the two lines.
• Vernacular regions - also known as perpetual regions. It refers to the people mindset on how they determine each country. They will use their mind to represent as the "mental map", which means to describe the surface of the Earth or sense of place.

- Regions also included the different part of regions. For example, the Philippines has 11 regions that every region have different Identities, Ethics, Religion, Ecological Sustainability, Health. They are organized through beliefs and cultures in the city, the people of every region on one country introduce the policy choices and of course we can observe the distance through pacific ocean and mountains. Even though we lived at only one country, we do have still differences especially when it comes to language that we used as our Medium of Instruction or First Mother Tongue Language. Our Identities and Ethics depends on our beliefs or through to the indigenous group, we can easily identify what ethics do they have. In Religion, some people may judge through physical abilities like if he or she is wearing a Hijab that means a person is a Muslim. There a lot of factors that we will discover of every regions. There are some places that we want to have a vacation, to experienced, and know the culture even though we only lived within one country only. But, because of the curiosity and being adventurous, we need to study and able to adapt their environment.

Regionalism is a political process that cooperate by the economic and society of every countries. This is the concentration of every regions that was perform by the government and people. The unity of a region depends on the leaders on how they take responsibility towards the community.
