Basing on the events as well as nurses on 19th and 20th century, I may prefer nurses and events for 20th century, as this can best guide my professional nursing practice, as for instance on 19th events, nurses did very little formal medical training as well as events to do with nursing practice were poorly performed, as there was no proper skills in their practice, hence in those days women learned medical skills from other women who were in the same profession, thus nursing was just an extension of what their roles at home were, therefore with 20th century events and nurses, there more extensive training programs, a more diversified staff as well as a level of prestige which is associated with this field which was not there before. However, with 20th century, there more training programs , more responsibility, better hospitals/ healthcare settings, good sense of family as well as there is much focus on the patient care in the nursing industry which facilitates in saving lives as well as leading to creation of generations of dedicated medical professional, thus being the best century which can be able to guide my current professional nursing practice in the healthcare organizations, hence there are more modernized facilities which contributes to better quality and improvement of better results in the healthcare setting
