Plan I Chose to Purchase Health insurance For My Organization
When it comes to selecting a plan for my company, I'm not sure which is the best because each has its own set of problems.For instance, in some cases, employees may be able to select their own health care package for certain employers, whereas some employers only have or prefer a single plan. Some plans provide extensive dental, vision, and medical coverage. However, If I had an opportunity to pick a health plan for my organization, I would go with Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) insurance plan. This plan offers a wide variety of healthcare services to members or employees across a network of providers that have committed to provide services to them.
Employees with an HMO would have access to a wider range of benefits. In most cases, the employee will be able to choose his or her primary care physician (PCP). One thing that HMO health insurance policies require that other health insurance plans do not is a referral from your primary care provider in order to see a specialist. Health-care premiums are lower within HMO plans. Employees might or may not be expected to pay a deductible, and if they are, the co-payments would most likely be negligible. However, with an Health Maintenance Organization insurance plan an employee can not be covered for services if he/she uses an external provider unless the primary care physician referrers the employer (Ghaddar,2018).
