           To have a positive impact on the team and the organization, there are a number of things that the leader can do. A leader needs to create trust between. Him and his team, and between him and his organization. Trust creates a more convenient relationship with each other such that instead of creating conflict within the organization or the team, people are working together instead. A leader can also concentrate on the strengths of the team and organization. This ensures that there is little room for negative attitudes and practices that will automatically bring both the team and the organization down. 

             Another way of creating positive impact is by being a role model to the team and the organization. By working hard, creating a suitable environment for others, and encouraging and motivating the team and organization, all other members follow suit. Finally, having a vision as a leader gives the team and the organization a clear path that they are supposed to follow. This prevents energy being used where it is not supposed to and contributes to the growth of both the team and organization.

              The organization culture has posed a challenge because it focuses on results rather than on the workers, and making them better. It does not care how results are obtained as long as they are obtained. This has led to some of the employees to engage in crooked behaviors and corruption. 

          From studying the module on leadership, I have found that communicating the vision I have as a leader helps in putting everyone in the team and organization in the same boat. Therefore I started communicating my vision and ideas to my colleagues and also had it written down. Another change has been in time management. We have become more strict on time, making sure to lead by example. If people do not get late to work, the time saved saves money for the team and organization.
