On Sundays the parking lot is used as the site for a vegetable market where local farmers sell fruit and vegetables to the public from the back of their trucks. Albert is employed by Mega City Properties as a cashier at the car park's exit from Monday to Friday. On Sunday he is employed to manage the Sunday market for which he is paid overtime. On Sunday mornings he arrives early to open the cark park gates for the farmers' trucks to enter and set up their stands for trading. He collects rental payments from the farmers and closes up at 4pm after they leave. He has been running the Sunday market for nearly five years and has become friendly with many of the farmers. When the market closes around 3pm on Sundays, most farmers have produce left over and some of them give it him for free rather than take it away.
