ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY. It is associated with your ideas / plans for your final paper discussion / analysis on the issues / topics addressed and depicted in the stories through the characters. Consider the questions we’ve raised and comments made about different readings. You might also consider whether you notice any similarities or stark differences between two or more stories / readings. Hopefully, you’ve been thinking about this as you’ve responded to Discussion Questions, read the stories, etc. If not, now is a good time.
For the Annotated Bibliography (AB), you will need to identify and “describe” (according to information of the Annotated Bib. Handout download, which should be available under Files) the relevance of 5 scholarly sources to your paper topic. Note: Be sure that you identify and discuss scholarly sources, those from scholarly journals, books by experts in their fields, and so forth. Pay close attention to what the AB Handout asks you to provide for each scholarly source.
1) A basic summary of the source: What is the text about? What is its main argument?2) A brief evaluation of each source: The effectiveness or quality / depth of the work3) A brief comment about the relevance of the work to your work / writing and a comment on how the source relates to the other sources / texts in your annotated bibliography You should provide 2-4 sentences for each part of the annotation. For this assignment, a minimum of approximately 6-8 sentences each. (Note: Some professors may require more.)Your annotated bibliography should include at least 5-7 sources.
