You will submit a written essay explaining the need of your petition.  This essay should include: the community you are going to address the petition to title of your petition explain why it is important for your community write a conclusion paragraph where you reflect in how this research has help you understand the needs that exist among the Hispanics in your community cite at least 3 different academic sources.  Academic sources include newspaper articles, government or educational websites (not personal website nor Wikipedia – these are not considered academic resources).  Make sure that you cite websites correctly with the relevant details required for each website - do not simple write out the website urls.
