The effects of war on people are diverse and dependent upon many different factors. The positive effects of war was depend upon on the place that a peculiar kind of fighting took place. War can conclude a positive impact on the economy of an area such as the great depression. Technological advancement forms another positive result of the war. When a country has been threatened or defeated in battle, they will be rational and may improve their technology so that they are not defeated again if such a situation repeats itself. The strengthened military is another positive impact that might come as a result of the war. Countries turn to improve and train their soldiers more when they have been defeated during the battle. These are commonly done for purposes of being cautious if the same events exist in the future. 

The most common negative impacts of war consist of loss of human lives, economic losses due to destruction of capital as well as disruption of trade, the spread of diseases, human suffering, displacement of people and destruction of the environment, among others.
