This assignment is to be done individually.  The objective of this assignment is to map out the next 10 years of your career as well as anticipate the effect life changes might have on that career.  Career plans are to be a minimum of 10 - 12 pages in length, double spaced, 12 pt font with 1 inch margins on all sides.  You should include a cover page and a table of contents as well as a bibliography. When you upload the career plan please make it all one document and in PDF format please.  The Career Plan is worth 100 points and it requires two peer reviews worth 25 points each for a total of 150 points for this exercise.

The career plan should cover the following areas:

· Current education and employment history

· Current resume

· Narrative about employment and education background - basically tell the story of how you got to where you are now

· Influences on career choices / business major choices

· What influenced you to choose the career you are in or the major you selected?

· Describe your communication style, Myers-Briggs type and your Disc results

· Are they accurate or not and why?

· Stylistic change opportunities – what are your areas of development?

· Career goals and aspirations

· Where do you see yourself in 5 years and then 10 years and why?

· Career timeline

· Future job description at 5 years

· Future job description at 10 years

· The Plan - HOW WILL YOU ENSURE YOU MEET YOUR 5 AND 10 YEAR GOALS?  BE EXPLICIT AND DETAILED!

· Required education to achieve the 5 year and the 10 year career goals

· Required work experience to achieve career goals

· Additional requirements to achieve career goals

· What else will you need in order to achieve your career goals?

· Networking opportunities

· Additional coursework like time management or presentation skills?

· How life changes could affect your career path
