Robinson Co. (Malaya) Sdn Bhd is scheduled to close its two department stores in Malaysia and begin a liquidation process due to poor demand because of its inability to continue operations.

Globally, retail purchasing habits are seeing drastic changes from offline to online spending, with Asia Pacific contributing nearly 63 percent of all digital sales this year in the Global Ecommerce 2020 survey.
