A wind power farm in the North Sea outside of Denmark consists of 10 wind power plants in which each wind power plant has an installed power of 1 MW. During one week in February 2017, major maintenance work was being carried out on half of the wind power plants, resulting in a situation in which 50% of the wind power plants were delivering energy at 50% of their installed power during the week. The rest of the wind power plants continued to deliver energy at full capacity during the week, i.e., at 100% of their installed power.
