The relationship between leadership and vision

Vision is a representation of a leader's ideas which have specific goals and objectives to be achieved by those who believe in the ideas of a certain leader.

Therefore in charismatic leadership we are able to have visionary leaders who are the goal bearers for a given group of people for example in religious or political engagements.

The vision of leadership is reflected through the values, actions and beliefs of an organization that a given leader is in charge of. Employees in organizations where there is visionary leadership, they are mandated to actively effect the visions of a leader so as to achieve the goals and objectives so as to achieve the vision.

Vision makes a leader to come up with the best strategies which makes them to keep going with minimal hindrances and uphold perseverance in order to accomplish certain objectives to keep us moving forward and move through obstacles.

The role of the leader as it relates to setting a vision

A leader has the soul responsibility of making people to understand and analyze the vision that they hold so that people may embrace it and have a share vision with a leader. The ownership of a vision with people will bring commitment and determination to achieve the ultimate goal of the vision.
