Answer:
Mushrooms are basically fungi which belongs to the class saprophytes and reproduce by spores. The growth of these organism is mainly dependent on the temperature and the medium contents in which they grow.Usually, they are found in damp or wet soil and abundant in seasons favoring this environment.
Here, the nitrate concentration and the mushroom yield are experimented.Analysing the data we find that initially the yield of mushrooms has increased as the nitrate concentration is increased and this trend proceeds to a certain concentration of nitrate after which significant increase in the yield is not observed.
Now,the above mentioned is the observational results.
A hypothesis is a supposition that the researcher puts before the results are taken. The results may support the hypothesis or sometimes not and that is the conclusion or the report of the research or study.
In this case , a possible hypothesis is :
" If the nitrate concentration is increased, then the mushroom yield will also increase in a given set of conditions favoring the mushroom growth"
(Note: This hypotheses is slightly altered as the observation are noted, and in the conclusion the limit of nitrate concentration will also be included.)
