Novel Corona Virus disease, known as COVID-19, was reported in Wuhan City in the Hubei province of China in the year 2019. It detailed that the Corona Virus disease have common symptoms of mild fever, dry cough, sore throat, and loss of taste or smell. The number of cases began increasing at an alarming phase and a Public Health Emergency of International Concern was declared on January 2020 to tackle this issue. It created a massive uproar while significantly affecting the health of people. A part from provoking massive health uproar, this Pandemic also seems to have created economic, mental, and social effects on the masses. Hence, the country and its people suffer severe damages. A reduction in the supply chain creates a scarcity of foods, resources, and personal protective equipment. It even leads to a financial strain on society and an imbalance of the economy. Moreover, social distancing measures, quarantine, shutting down of educational institutions, and self-isolation have a detrimental impact on people's psyche due to increased loneliness, distrust, and reduced social interaction. A weak immune system or a close relative or member of the family susceptible to the disease intensifies stress, anxiety, and frustration. In addition, information overload called "infodemic" via social media platforms creates uncertainty and uneasiness among the people; while, risking the spread of false information.

There are various struggles that every country encounters. One is on how they will cope to the new technology; second, how they will face and accept the new normal; finally, how COVID-19 will affect the mental health of the individuals, specifically the students who are experiencing stress, anxiety, and depressive tendencies. Although the students develop new skills in maintaining relationship, independence, and self-sufficiency, any hurdle in this process can cause denial, self-blaming, dissatisfaction, stress or anxiety. Hence, social media works as a coping mechanism with its ease of accessibility and trends. Due to the lock down period of COVID-19, factors related to changes in academic structures, examinations, and a battle with limited resources can be directly associated with anxiety, stress, frustration, and depressive disorders. Thus, it is vital to promote positive mechanisms or thinking against the negative impact of COVID -19 on the mental health of the people.

This proposed study must be purely researched on and develop more information that will benefit all the future researchers and different administrations. The study is so timely to achieve its best research study and help other researchers and scientists in discovering new information that may pave way to another research.

Pandemic is a worldwide case disease that every nation faces today. Different health organizations are still discovering cures and continually studying all about the virus and how it become a very uncommon illness for every patients and suspected patients. Broader research review from studies done in various countries such as Turkey, China, Germany, and USA, have displayed the influence of COVID-19 on population with respect to policies, healthcare, economy, etc. A study from China conducted in January discussed long-term effects such as PTSD and the outcome of negative coping. A review of related work in India revealed that the primary focus has been on older adults, healthcare professionals, and at risk patients. This study focused on studying the effects of COVID-19 on the student population in India and gauge their response to knowledge, attitude, anxiety, experience, and mental health care. It is imperative to assess the student population's perspective, response, and progress during the Pandemic, especially in a country like India where the majority of the population comprises of youth. Philippines is one of the countries that have highly positive cases of COVID-19. The Department of Health are aware and give mandatories and protocols that will help and prevent people in having close contacts and face-to-face meetings. All localities in the country have their rules and regulations that will support the activities and mandatories of a high organization. To cite an example is following the protocols like always wearing a face mask, a face shield, and maintaining a 1-meter distance in public to prevent the spread of the virus.

Student mental health in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic: A call for further research and immediate solutions.

International Journal of Social Psychiatry - Grubic et al, explored the impact of COVID-19 on student education and well-being. The study's findings highlight the multiple factors contributing to students' distress during this pandemic; however, there remains much to be learned about the psychological impacts facing students and what can be done to reduce their negative effects. Researchers iterates the measures that should be taken now to support a vulnerable student population will help mitigate the overall global mental health burden associated with this period of extraordinary disruption and uncertainty.

*a brief informations of Related Literature

Related Literature

- Written in past tense

- Discusses the theoretical foundations of the problem.

- Point out themes, links, gaps, and inconsistencies in the literature with the aim  to provide a clearer conceptualization of the problem.

Related Studies

- Written in past tense

- The purposes of this section are: (a) to tell what research has or has not been  done on the problem; and (b) to explain or clarify the theoretical rationale of the  problem. This section provides a general picture of the research topic. -

- Only studies which are related in purpose, method, or findings to current  study, should be included in the review.

- The discussion of such studies should be in the form of a brief critical analysis  of the purposes, method of study, principal findings and conclusions.

- Clarify the interrelationships of the studies reviewed. Point out the weaknesses  and strengths of each study. Point out how each study reviewed is related to the  problem at hand.

- Summarize the review and provide a transition from the past studies to the  present one. The present study should be shown to relate with or evolved from  earlier work.

Literature review should cover all variables in the conceptual framework.

Group same topics, both literature and studies. Minimize figures/diagrams in the

text. If many figures and diagrams are necessary, place them in the appendix

Theory Base

- Shapes the justification of the research problems in order to provide the legal

basis for defining its parameters.

- This includes existing accepted concepts, principles, theories and frameworks.

(Include theories/frameworks where you anchor your study)

Review of Related Literature

- review of related concepts and theories related things your study. This is also the review of each variable in your study. You can get it in internet, books or any other sources.

Review if Related Studies:

-This is when you look for published journals or research papers that are somehow similar to your topic.

Theory-base

- this is when you look for theories to which you anchor your study. Remember, theories are still not considered law (irrevocable). Meaning you can somehow still challenge or support them. So is there's theory that can base your study either you will support it or not.

Conceptual Framework

- From the review of the related literature and studies, the researcher formulates

a conceptual scheme for his research problem, which is a tentative theoretical

explanation of the phenomenon/ problem he is going to investigate.

- The conceptual framework should be reduced into a paradigm/ schematic

diagram showing the variables of the framework and their interrelationships.

The theoretical scheme is the basis for formulating the research hypothesis/es.

Null Hypothesis (es)

- The hypothesis (es) should be: (1) rational, involving at least two variables; (2)

precise and clear; (3) non-judgment, i.e. moral/value free; (4) not answerable by

yes or no; and (5) measurable.

- The research hypotheses are stated in the alternative form however, these are

changed to the null form when they are tested statistically. Only null

hypotheses can be subjected to statistical testing.

Example: Ho: There is no significant difference in the maternal and child health

care services when grouped by socio-demographic, geographical, political,

economic and social capital profile of mothers in Zamboanga.
