This is a tricky one

Subject:ChemistryPrice: Bought3

This is a tricky one... And I am answering it for the volume of a liquid... the answer is liter (or litre)

The reason this is tricky (and someone is will raise this on here) is the litre was originally incorrectly defined. It was supposed to be 1000 ##cm^3## but was slightly off (I think it was something like 1000.0028 ##cm^3##, but don't quote me on that as I can't remember the exact figure). So, for awhile volume was defined as ##dm^3## which is exactly 1,000 ##cm^3## (it's a 10 cm by 10 cm by 10 cm cube). However, now it is back as the liter or litre.
