This approach gives a more accurate picture of the actual event than any other approach. Some of key concepts of narrative approach are conversations, curiosity, contexts, circularity, co-construction, caution and care. in conversation a reality is created and then described. conversation do not necessarily need to have beginnings or endings, it can be ultra-long or ultra-brief therapy. Curiosity brings conversations into therapy. They are friendly in that patients are allowed to reframe their stories. In context, families, history, workplaces, community, values, belief systems are what people like talking about to bring life to conversations. Life at circularity is assumed to be an infinite and endless dance of interactions. Co-construction means a better reality is defined by what you are looking for than what is present at that time. Caution enables a patient to be adventurous and extend their skills without being unrealistic about their personal resources. patients are scared or upset in anyway. Care means everything in that without care nothing else works.
