Support strategies and interventions recommended for struggling readers and why i will these strategies and interventions
- Use of different reading materials-If a student has trouble reading, the battle with content that is not of interest to them will be much more critical. Often it takes just reading people to get enthusiastic about a subject to make them forget them self. I'm going to try novels, comic books and poetry. And photo books will work as long as the student doesn't realize that the content is below the standard. Experiment with texts of varying lengths, beginning with shorter content and building up to longer parts progressively. Through using this approach, I introduce the suffering reader to more reading resources, which allow them to smoothly transition to the reading and are reader-friendly while reading continuously.
- Use of vocabulary-The composition of a text and reading it in isolation or sentences by a student is important for assisting readers who are having difficulties. This can be achieved by an immersive exercises in the classroom. Get students to use the words to read them from the board or on a paper. Crossword puzzles may be an efficient guidance or an orthodox game. If it is fresh in memory, it is much easier to read a word. Via this approach, I will improve the learner's vocabulary to ensure that new words are used every time they read and eliminate the reading difficulty. The cross-cutting jigsaw could be relevant to help them also get the orthodoxy to change the way they say it.
- Reading pace-The use of continuous rhythm and speed, that guides students through a text, is one of the characteristics of fluent reading. This does not have to be fast and new readers can have the option of starting slowly and picking up as they get better. Some students would like a reference, like a metronome, that gives them a matching rhythm. This technique would be stressful for some. With the latest vocabulary and a steady read rate, they will adjust the flow of words and get connected in a letter. This approach helps them to eradicate any reading difficulty by adjusting to modern smooth reading styles.
- Typing course -I may consider adding an extracurricular curriculum intended to develop the literature skills while one student begins to suffer with fluency. A multi-sensory course such as Read and Spell can be used both in school and at home to practice keyboard reading and develop orthodoxy and vision reading. An audio part will follow the letters on the screen as students type the buttons. Automatic feedback and training work is divided into modules and self-directed courses which promote automatic learning and inspire and improve the self-efficacy of new readers. Via this approach, when students reach the exact words, their memory is enhanced, which is easy to make successful while reading and entering these words.
