Termination from a job is an unpleasant experience which most employees have to go through at some point during their professional career. Getting terminated from the job may have psychological, professional and financial consequences on the employees.

Suppose as an MBA student, you decide to investigate the experience of termination from job of employees working in the banking sector as part of your thesis research.

Plan a qualitative study to investigate banking sector employee's experience of termination from job by answering the following questions:

1 a)

Most suitable type of study is the Methodological paradigm is the research paradigm since the study is done to investigate the impact of termination of banking sector employee. Thus it is prudent to go through the various steps/ways in the study , hence a methodological study would be helpful in determination of the impact because it's study is done step by step.

b)

Narrative approach can be studied through qualitative approach as it is the suitable approach. From the experience of banking employee post termination must be understood and these can be done through hearing them through them narrating in a sequence to bring out facts easily.

2 a)

• My target population would be the representatives of the association.
• Also my context will be the examination context as it is the turnover of the organization was expanding.
• In addition my sampling technique will be defining the sample that would be more qualified to this kind of study because it involves coordination when doing a given gathering work.
• Lastly, my sample size would be 20 since that would be exceptionally illustrative of the association

b)

• My research question would be; To understand the purposes behind high turnover rates in the organization and distinguish the elements answerable for it.

Also my sub questions will be as follows;

• What are the turnover rates in the organization?
• Are the turnover rates higher in a specific sexual orientation?
• What is the relationship between turnover and sex orientation?
