Suprised or Not, by Covid 19 in New York City during February 2020- June 1 when the cases and the death rates were high

 

Not surprised. Given the large population and density of New York City, it is no wonder that it became the epicenter of Covid-19.

The first and most apparent cause for the magnitude of the region's epidemic is that New York is the biggest and most heavily populated city in the US, and coronavirus continues to spread to dense areas. With more than 8 million residents, New York City is also the largest city in the world. So a large number of coronavirus cases in New York is just a result of their size. The state is expected to lead the country in coronavirus cases even though its infection rate per person is not the highest.
