We take an article on financial literacy from the Journal of Risk and Financial Management.

The article explains to us what financial literacy is all about and explains eight important measures that can show or highlight the level of financial literacy of a person. The research was conducted to observe the correlation of each of these variables with the level of financial literacy and to understand whether or not they wielded a significant and accurate measure of the reality. The measures seem to work fairly well but there is a lot more left to be covered since financial literacy is a behavioural issue and no behaviour can be captured and accurately highlighted using a small base of test groups.
